Dear All,
I'm going to model a nanocomposite with 'Epoxy Epon 828' polymer matrix. as you may know, 'epon 828' is a copolymer composed of 'Bisphenol A' and 'Epichlorohydrin'. I have all 'epon 828', 'Bisphenol A' and 'Epichlorohydrin' molecules in *.mol format and can import them in materials studio. now, I want to know the difference between these two following tasks:
1- building a copolymer using 'Bisphenol A' and 'Epichlorohydrin' molecules.
2- building a homopolymer using "epon 828' molecules?
... and one more related question:
are the head and tail atoms unique? in other words, how can I recognize the correct head and tail atomes in a molecule in order to build a repeat unit?
thanks in advance.
best regards,
Behrooz Arab.
