dear all,

in my castep calculation,

1.  electronic band structure is showing some band gap meaning is that it is semiconducting in nature .so i think DOS should not exist at  fermi level. but i am getting  some DOS value at fermi level, what does it mean?

2. sometimes it is also observed that energy bands crossing the fermi level which means it is metallic in nature.but in the figure some band gap  value is written on the top of the figure.

what's the problem?

plz clarify it.
