Bit of a "friday afternoon" script here. This script generates a "ruler" made of atoms. You can move this within a zeolite pore for example and calculate the distance across the pore.

Integer distances are stored on the Name property of the Atom and non-integer distances are stored on the Charge property.

Remember not to run a calculation with the "ruler" in your model otherwise you will get odd results!

This script will run using Materials Visualizer in Materials Studio 4.1.
