Anyone have problems with a remote Linux box accessing libdl.so.2?

Installed Materials Studio 2017R2 on a RHEL 7.3 Linux box.  Only minor problems during the install. Gateway is active & working; MatStudio can connect and run diagnostics on the license server from the Linux box using lp_admin.

The big problem is when I try to perform a client/server execution with this new install.  The error I receive (a trivial Forcite Energy calculation) is:

sh: error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The actual link exists in /lib...

We have 2017R2 installed on multiple Windows and good-sized internal cluster, so these installations are not new to us.

Any else have this problem?
