I'm trying to learn the wear conditions of interface between polymer and metal. The top and bottom layers are metal atom. The middle layer is polymer atom. Some researchers have published paper on Carbon. However, they don't explain how to add a displacement on the metal atom of the top layer. His unit is nm/ps, which is related to simulation time(steptime, set in the software). If I use the confined shear calculation in the Forcite, the bottom layer can not be fixed. Could you tell me how to add a displacement related to time or a shear stress on the top layer atoms, without a motion of the bottom layer atoms? Thank you so much.
