Hello communicators

I have a question about dmol3 calculation

If i calculate singlet molecule with spin unrestricted calculation,  the dmol3 automatically change unrestricted calcultions to restricted calculation??

and there are serious differences both calcultion?? For example, the orbital distribution or HOMO-LUMO energy gap etc..
