If I have a ribbon structure up on the screen, it looks like it's being clipped. If I click and drag I can see the entire structure, but if I release the click, the ribbon vanishes, except for fragments that appear to poke through some clipping plane. I've tried Rest on View/Clipping Plane, but this does not solve the problem.
