I am preparing figures for a paper, I have structures in the 3D window, I click on an atom, select new label, use custom text to add a name, then make the label moveable, reposition it in the plane, and then save as a .png file to use in a Word doc. Everything was going fine, until all of a sudden when I saved as a .png (or print preview) the labels would appear "behind" the ribbons of the structure. I can also copy the screen and paste into a Word doc. and I get the same result. They are in front of the structure, but they get printed behind which covers them up making the figure useless. I did not change any preferences, and I made figures earlier today and they were fine. Does anyone know what is going on?
I did restart the program, and then the computer too, and that did not solve the problem.
The only work around I have found is to use the 3D Pointer tool (looks like a yellow pencil) to add a lable that is stationary (does not move if you rotate the structure).
Thank you,
Gary
