Our Discovery Studio license server suddenly stopped working the other day. We are unable to start the license server via the license administrator on the computer that hosts the server. When we attempt to start the server, the program errors out and it is unable to start the license server. Our license is still valid until the end of the month and is going to be renewed for another year, but we are currently unable to access the license server because the server will not get started on the host computer. Has anyone else run into this issue or have any recommendations on how to fix it? We have tried restarting the computer and running the license administrator as an administrator (on the computer) but nothing has worked. Our Pipeline Pilot server is still functioning, but Discovery Studio is not. The only error reported\report from the license diagnostics states that the license server is down and needs to be started from the host computer, but we are unable to start it. Every time we click "start" it simply freezes, and then reverts back to the menu after some time without starting the server. Please help!
