Dear all,

After I docked a structure, I can monitor the hydrogen bonds and i found there is another "Bumps"

What is bumps?

From the help it stated :

" Bumps are shown between atoms whose distance is less than or equal to a threshold (what is the threshold means??) which is expressed as a fraction of the sum of the atoms' van der Waals radii (??). By default, bumps are displayed as magenta dashed lines. They are not shown where a hydrogen bond would be displayed. Bump monitors attempt to approximate the existence of hydrogen atoms if valences are not filled (??) "

If i ned to monitor inter-hydrophobic interaction how should I do it from Discovery studio after docking?

Pls advice. thank you
