Hi,
We just had a demo installation yesterday of DS 2.5 on our single RHEL 5 machine. We all have iMac's or Mac Mini's as desktop machines running snow leopard 10.6.2 and the Apple X11 server that comes with SL.
Under InsightII we could use a command such as InsightII -axxess to run it on a Linux machine but display back to another machine.
Is there are similar command for DS? The screen starts to dsiplay back up to the point of srawing the splash window, then main window with menus but then crashes at a very late stage of opening.
with ACCELRYS_DEBUG=1 we see this:
X Error: GLXBadContext 147
Extension: 146 (Uknown extension)
Minor opcode: 5 (Unknown request)
Resource id: 0x600e86
QGLContext::makeCurrent(): Failed.
DiscoveryStudio25-bin: Fatal IO error: client killed
Is there away to turn off this extension in DS 2.5?
Many thanks
Jon
