Hello, I am a 17 year old who will be a senior this year. I am currently working a full time job at a machine shop called Metalquest Unlimited. I love the job that I have and get to be able to run some amazing machines and be around amazing people. The one issue I have is that I am pretty good at designing and figuring things out on SolidWorks but my work doesn't really use SolidWorks for designing the parts that we make on our machines. Another thing is I have my CSWA certification and hopefully my CSWP certification by the end of this month or the beginning of next month. My work is supportive and is helping get this certification. So the main question I have is, Is there a way I can make a little bit more money by designing things on Solidworks? I would like to be able to make some more money and build up my skills after work or on the weekend. Is this a possibility for me?
