i got this error while installing the 2024 Solidworks student edition:
The Installation Manager failed to register DesignCheckerResult.ocx "C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\regsvr32.exe" /s "C:\\Program Files\\SOLIDWORKS Corp\\SOLIDWORKS\\dsgnchk\\DesignCheckerResult.ocx" returned 0x3
the module: "C:\\Program Files\\SOLIDWORKS Corp\\SOLIDWORKS\\dsgnchk\\DesignCheckerResult.ocx" failed to load. make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. the specific module cannot be found.
