#Take Climate Action (Solar pannel cleaning system)

Participant's team names: Alba Carrodeguas Rodríguez, Alfonso Iglesias Arias and Oliver Bölter.

Pitch of the project:

The main problem present in the solar panels is the dust and waste that can be accumulated on their surface. This will provoque a potential decrease in its efficiency, making it a need to look for solutions.

As for right now there are few companies that produce devices for the cleaning of solar panels, developing new and advanced techniques to make the process more environmentally friendly, economic, faster and more autonomous. One of the main competences in the market right now is HyCleaner a company based in Germany and that has as main product plant based devices to clean roof tops.

The objective of this report is to develop a device that is able to work autonomously with a main objective of cleaning the dust off the solar panels. We also tried to reduce the use of water and make it more environmentally friendly.

The process for the production of the device had different stages, first we had to know the specifications from our customer and their needs, then develop alternatives to satisfy them.

Each team member made their own design and afterwards, we decided the best option , based on the requirements satisfied and their corresponding importance. We use the AHP method to choose two out of the three. And finally with the Scoring method decided the final design.

The device is modeled on a 3d software with all the specifications and we also added a short description of the product.
