The product we are hoping to develop is a biomass tank which, due to decomposition, generates energy which we can then use for other purposes.
The way it would work is you feed the waste into the machine and due to natural chemical processes it generates heat, which we can then turn into energy and channel it to different uses around the facilities.
We first thought of doing it at a personal scale but there was too little organic waste to feed the tank so we are now thinking about developing it for industries such as the farming one in which they have enough organic waste to produce a considerable amount of energy.
We think this is a good idea since it would help reduce waste so it helps deal with waste disposal which is an environmental problem but at the same time is a useful green energy saving mechanism for its user which eventually derives in saving money.
