Hi
We are two students creating a product configurator for inner walls of houses where the inner walls are made of bricks. Currently, we have made a configuration system for one individual inner wall where the input is the length of the wall left and right the door opening (if the wall includes a door opening), the height of the wall, and the length of the door. Then, according to several constraints, the bricks are correctly arranged according to one another. The master model includes about 40 parts. Our ambition is to enable the user to decide the number of inner walls (up to 20) and place them correctly inside exterior walls based on a 2D drawing that includes a floor plan of the house. Our question is; is it somehow possible to "multiply" the single inner wall we have made x many times (as many times as the inner walls are set to be) where the user gets the chance to enter the input for one wall at a time. Then when the user goes on to the next wall, it does not affect the dimensions and parts of the previous walls? We are basically trying to avoid having to create 40 parts x number of inner walls to include in the master model. Is that possible?
