I am currently studying the Tuning Space Mapping (TSM) technique for RF filter optimization in CST. However, I am struggling to wrap my head around the "Calibration" phase.
Could someone provide a simplified explanation of how to extract the calibration constants? Specifically, I'm confused about how to mathematically map the optimal values from the coarse model (e.g., ideal capacitors) back to the physical 3D dimensions of the fine model.
Any analogies or simple examples would be highly appreciated! Thanks.
