I have downloaded Solidworks 2021 SP3.0 from my Instituion website using the provided Student License serial number. I was able to get the program to open and design the first model for my required course lab assignment. 

We are instructed to run a simulation study of the model. At this point, when I click "Run the Study", I receive a message "STAR has stopped working" and the prompt "FAILED" message follows thereafter. I have no idea what to do and have lost sleep over it at this point.

Please feel free to help if there is anything known that can bring this issue to a resolution.
