Every time I press the new part, assembly, or drawing button, Solidworks Crashes. I am able to open existing files and modify them but I cannot create new files from the menu. I can create new parts and assemblies in existing assemblies. I can save parts and save copies.

The crash seems to only happen when I create a new part or assembly outside of an existing assembly. Is there any way to fix this? I have tried completely deleting all Solidworks files on the computer and reinstalling but It has not worked.
