I just recently bought a student's license for SolidWorks 2024. After I put in the license code and installed SolidWorks and opened it I was presented with an error message that said the device identifier was not the same and would not let me open SW. I then renamed FlexNet to FlexNet_Old to see if that could fix the issue but it did not work and instead, it spat out another error about not finding a device identifier.
