I am trying to design a manual capsule filling machine which consists of basically 4 plates about 6mm thick with about 100 holes in each plate. 2 plates have slightly larger holes than the bottom one. I was considering just designing a basic block, inserting the holes, then splitting it into 4 layers, then editing each layer for finishing. I can design the block and holes okay but can't find how to slice the block into 4 plates that I can separate to do the final edit. Any pointers or videos would be gratefully appreciated. Thank You.
