As part of my master's thesis, I had the task of evaluating the functionalities of the 3DExperience platform on the basis of various criteria. These criteria include the methodical procedure of the rough planning process in the context of a factory planning project. In other words, these are functions relating to function definition, dimensioning and layout planning. As the 3D-Experience platform is very extensive and I do not have all the authorisations, I would like to find out about the functions of the software in this way.
The following questions:
Can I have the material flows of my factory model output in a matrix?
Can I use the software for personnel planning?
Can the software calculate the area ratios of my layout?
Is there a function that optimises the arrangement of my facilities in order to minimise material flows?
Is it possible to evaluate the layout according to various criteria?
