Was wondering if someone might be able to advise. I`m contacting you from the University of Southampton. I work in IT so know very little about Abaqus, but have installed it many times. I`ve just sent out Abaqus 2021 to a number of our teaching machines ready for next year. A user has been using it, but is getting the error that the file is from Abaqus/CAE 2021 HF6, The current Abaqus/CAE Installation must be upgraded before this model database can be opened. This despite the machine that created the file and the machine opening the file had 2021 HF6 installed. Anyone got any ideas.
