I am working on the impact of a beam model compared to a volume model, in particular the stress values in my slender object. I thus simulated the 4-point bending loading of an elastic beam with a 3D solid element then a beam element. Then I managed to plot the stress on the cross section of the 3D object and I would like to do the same with the beam object. I found the BEAM_STRESS output value and displayed the contours, which looked similar to what I got with the 3D object. However, I would like to do an XYPlot on the section and I haven't found a way to do it. I guess since ABAQUS can show the contours across the section there is a way to get the XYData.
