We are not sure if this question belongs here or concerns Tacton's support team, but in case, we present it here.

We are trying to make a configuration system in Tacton Design Automation that allows the user to create a floorplan (based on a 2D drawing). Our idea is to make one part which is the floor itself, and then make several parts where each part represents one wall. We then gather all the parts in the assembly file. Still, we need to define two distance variables between each wall-part and the floor-part, one variable for locating the wall on the x-axis and one variable for locating the wall on the y-axis (all walls lie in either x- or y-axis). We know that it is impossible to edit DimXpert dimensions but is it possible to create a variable between two parts in an assembly file where the value of the variables can be changed/edited in the configuration system?
