I'm trying to input my thermal ODB file of a steel I-beam using a heat transfer step (ISO curve) into my mechanical beam model. The thermal analysis appears correct but when combined with mechanical loading, the deflection time graph is different to what would be expected. I am using a 3D Shell element (S4R mesh) in a simply supported case.
