I have been trying to get a CATIA educational license for a long time. To achieve this, I contacted all the 3DS distributors in Turkey, but I received negative responses from all of them. I also spoke with technical support, and they told me that once support is available, it will appear in the list of supported countries for the online store under the EDU page. There has been no such development for about a year, and realistically, it probably won't happen before I finish my studies. I already have the SolidWorks student edition for desktop, and I didn't experience any location-based issues when purchasing it—thank you for that. However, I want to learn and experience the A-Class surfacing module within CATIA before starting my career. What can I do to achieve this? Even though I know it is not ethical, what kind of problems would I face if I simply entered my location as the United States during the purchasing process?
