I need SolidWorks Technical Support

I am in the middle of my college semester and am using SolidWorks student edition. A few weeks back, while using the software, I kept getting pop-up notifications saying that I should run a diagnostic test on my SolidWorks. Not knowing what the test would entail and for fear of compromising my files and projects that I am currently working on, I elected not to run the test. Recently, I have not gotten any more of those notifications but have noticed that my SolidWorks lags frequently. I noticed that my backdrop when constructing a part in SolidWorks has gone to a darker shade of grey. When I move the orientation of my projects around, edges will disappear and reappear and when I have a rounded edge, new jagged edges appear that change when the orientation is adjusted. In addition, there have been many times that when I try to access components of a part, the system will buffer, and this has even led to a system crash. While typing this description, I tried opening SolidWorks just to verify my problems and I received another pop-up message saying that there might be an issue with my driver license and I am not sure what that means. Any assistance to rectify these issues would be greatly appreciated.
