I'm modeling a stepped 1D beam (fork leg with 3 different diameters) in 3DEXPERIENCE.

Currently, I have 3 separate collinear line segments with 3 Beam Mesh features, which leaves duplicate coincident nodes at the joints. Using kinematic couplings between them overconstrained the DOFs and broke the bending behavior (gives "No Value").

What is the cleanest, native workflow to ensure full 6-DOF continuity here?

• Is there an easy way to merge coincident beam nodes across meshes?

• Or should I create a single partitioned curve and assign local beam sections to it?
