Since the Catia V5 student edition got cancelled, my senior design team bought 3dExperience student licenses to build a plane over the summer. We thought that we would be able to collaborate together on parts and were excited at that prospect. But we don't seem to be able to do this. The work around of storing files in a shared drive is extremely messy compared to Catia V5, because you have to manually export and reimport parts and relink assemblies.

Is there a way to work collaboratively with 3dExperience student edition, or should we have bought a different software? Hopefully we are just doing something wrong.
