3DEXPERIENCE Launcher setup stops with the following error message:

" *** 3DEXPERIENCELauncher: Cannot open file

C:\\Windows\\System32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts

Permission denied "

I have searched every available support post on the subject and none of the solutions worked. I have full admin rights, windows security antivirus disabled, hosts file is not in read-only mode (i can modify it and save it with notepad)

I have tried running as administrator through cmd, i have tried granting every permission in security settings, I have tried restarting, I have tried deleting the lines in hosts file, all with no success. I tried all this on a different computer and still had the exact same problem.

Please help as I need CATIA asap
