In October 2023 there was some kind of update in Draftsight which has caused considerable problems in making drawings. Most of what I do is 2 dimensional. 

One of the problems that came up is that I no longer see the grid when I zoom in. It appears to have been omitted in the update or somehow it was closed in options  

The other problem which makes it difficult to work is that any line I may draw becomes a blue polyline, blue in color regardless what color I am using at the time and I can't do any work with that line unless I change the status of the polyline to a line. There is a window that appears each time to neutralize that polyline. It makes it difficult to work with. Is there a way to go back to the old configuration which would make it easier to work with?
