Failed Installation - now stuck in a loop

I am stuck in a failed installation loop that I don’t know how to get out of. I would be grateful for any help.

I am at a PC that I use away from my main base that I have previously used 3D experience & SolidWorks for makers on.  I load 3D experience in Firefox and have no problem logging in.

On my previous visit in July, it wanted to install a hotfix update to SolidWorks which failed for some reason.

Just arrived for my September stay at the location of this PC and on starting the PC, after a while an installer window pops up saying that a SolidWorks install is looking for a file it can’t find. Cancelling this makes it go away.

On starting the 3D experience SolidWorks for Makers is shown as “INSTALL”.

Clicking on this downloads the installer which I then install.

The installation starts and then comes up with a message that there are remains of a previous installation that it will attempt to clean.

It then says it failed and will try again

It then fails with the only option being to abort

In the Windows Settings Add/remove programs it shows

If I try to uninstall that from this window it says there is nothing to uninstall

Restarting the machine just restarts the loop I am stuck in.

I was hoping to get some designs for a model I am making progressed whilst I am here at this location so would be grateful for any pointers on how I get a working installation on this PC

Thanks
