Does Solidworks Connected support adding ACME Threads

New to "Solidworks Connected".   Looking for some direction or if this can't be done.....

I have a project where I need to add ACME Threads to my project.  The only threads in my library are "Inch Die", "Inch Tap", "Metric Die", "Metric Tap", and "SP4xx Bottle".

There are YOUTUBE video's of opening up the "Thread Profiles" folders for the various "Inch.Die.SLDFP" files (and others) to copy/modify.

  1. Can this be done in "Solidworks Connected"?
    1. I looked into the "Solidworks Add-ons" Toolbox.  Within this is many different items including ANSI Inch/Metric "Bolts and Screws", but don't know if these can be edited or input into the "pulldown" listbox for the "Threads"....(see below)
  2. Since the ACME thread has been around for about 100 years, you would think someone built a profile and can have it imported or dropped into Solidworks.
  3. Or....I possibly can't find the 1 thing out of the millions of tools/capabilities of Solidworks....8)

There are other drawings of ACME threads as Solidworks files, but that would seem everytime I wanted to use that I would have to start my drawing from that original file and make major modifications for sizing, etc to fit my part requirements.

Any suggestions or is "Solidworks Connected platform" just like "Microsoft Windows Home Edition" where ".......oh you want to have that capability....you need the full-blown Pro package".....

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Darin
