Hello Community,

I am trying to find a way to code a new menu tab inside of CATIA and SolidWorks. I would like to connect an external application to this menu tab so that information from the mentioned external application is accesible within the CAD programs via this menu tab. 

I have been looking for solutions and searching around in the forums and documentation websites but i still have little to no idea about how i could do it. Hence i have been spinning around in circles for the past few weeks.

I would be really grateful if someone can give me some hints or at least point me in the right direction.
