CATIA issues

Good day. 

   For the last semester and 1/2 I have been fighting with Catia. Every time I open a workbench on my laptop, it 1) takes forever, 2) opens the bench, a popup window open and says "Creation Successful"; does a data dump, and finally, 3) gives me the error msg. "The session needs to be restarted. We're sorry for the inconvenience", and shuts down the workbench.

 

   Any thoughts? Its a Lenovo Thinkpad, new in '24, with 2TB memory & 16GB RAM.
