Hello, it's been a week since I started using 3DExperience, and I have been struggling to get anything done. The installation process was painful, tedious and obtuse, especially since all links google gives are ads for 3DExp instead of useful advice. I've used Solidworks and CATIA V5 before, it wasn't that annoying to set up and use. But that's beside the point.

I'm supposed to use it for a school project which revolves around optimising and prototyping an exoskeleton. It has already been modeled, consisting of various CATProducts and CATPart, I have to prototype it IRL using 3D Printing. Except the app won't open any CATPart/CATProduct file, citing "licensing issues", which I don't understand because I already have a 3DExp license.

Besides, I didn't find any app to open, inspect and modify the files, and the user's documentation is filled to the brim with verbose explanation about how great a bussiness platform 3Dx is. I just want to open a 3D model, modify it ans save it LOCALLY for cryin' out loud.
