Beam stress and plasticity

Hello,

I would like to compare the values ​​of strain and stresses in a beam in 4-point bending in particular along the cross-section, for a modeling of the beam with beam elements and the same thing with volume elements. Indeed with a bending of this type, I expect that the stresses vary along the section and therefore that the section does not yield uniformly.

I managed to plot with a path in the volume element case, but I don't see how to do that with the beam elements because I only have access to the values ​​along the axis of the beam. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I thought perhaps it would be possible to extract the values ​​of the stress strains calculated at the integration points for the beam elements but I was not successful. Does anyone have an idea? 

More generally I wonder how the stress calculations and thus plasticity work for a beam element on Abaqus. The documentation is very complex I have difficulty visualizing the models used.
