Hello all,

I'm working on a stent made of beam elements, I'd like to assign beam orientation, but I only found in the CAE a global orientation for n1-vector, which led me to get twisted beams which is due to normal averaging I guess. This stent is wrapped around the x axis so I think that the beam normals should be pointing towards the x axis, so I think I have to maybe define the n-1 vector for each beam individually with a Python script. I know that we can enter nodal normal at nodes in the inp file but didn't found a way to do it with the CAE or Python scripting.

Does someone have a idea to fix it ?
