Hey everyone, I'm a student working on a SW project and need help with model annotations.

When I set my annotations folder to "sort by type" I can see the individual items​​​​​​​

When I set it back to default, I can see the expand/collapse triangles by the view names.

When I click the triangle to expand the view, it disappears and doesn't expand the annotation view. 

Can someone help me understand this functionality and explain how I can go about getting the model annotations to show up in both ways?
