Python Scripting Query - ability to exclude B-Sided geometry from searches

Hi,

I'm trying to understand if it's possible to exclude checking/ reporting of B-Sides (hidden surfaces) in a Deltagen Python script that checks/ validates a model for a missing metadata category e.g. 'Rigging' or for a specific metadata value e.g. 'unassigned'.

We've created a script that checks for metadata assigned at a shell level but it's currently reporting B-Sided geometry which we don't want to see for obvious reasons.

If someone could confirm if this is possible using Deltagen's Python Script editor or provide a Python Script example to help understand how to do exclude checking of B-Side data it would be greatly appreciated.

I've created an example scene (see attached) with B-Sided geometry and metadata assigned and a few shells that have missing 'metadata' category and some with an 'unassigned' value.

Kind Regards Neil Massam
