Fade in/out a Product Actor

Hello,

I am exploring ways to improve the visual quality of Interactive Experiences by fading Product Actors in and out instead of making them appear/disappear instantly.

I have been investigating this through scripting and tested several APIs, including:

CATI3DXGraphicalProperties.SetShowMode(false)
CATI3DXGraphicalProperties.SetOpacity(value)
CATI3DXGraphicalProperties.GetOpacity()
CATI3DXGraphicalProperties.SetColor(...)

During my tests:

SetShowMode(false) successfully hides the Product Actor.
SetOpacity(value) stores and returns the assigned value through GetOpacity(), but I do not observe any visual transparency change.
Color-related modifications also do not appear to affect the rendered Product Actor.

From the available documentation, my understanding is that runtime opacity modification of Product Actors is not currently supported.

However, I noticed that when an Interactive Experience is opened in the Apple Vision Pro through the 3DLive application, the component visibility panel allows users to temporarily hide and restore components. When doing so, the components appear and disappear with what looks like a fade-in transition rather than an instantaneous change.

This led me to wonder whether there is an internal mechanism, graphical property, API, or recommended workflow that enables fade-in/fade-out effects for Product Actors.

Could you please clarify:

Whether runtime opacity/transparency changes are supported for Product Actors?
Whether the fade effect observed in the 3DLive component explorer is accessible to Interactive Experiences?
Whether there is a recommended alternative approach to achieve fade-in/fade-out transitions?

Being able to smoothly transition Product Actors in and out would significantly improve the visual quality and immersion of Interactive Experiences.

Thank you for your guidance.
