Hi everyone,
as the title says, i'm having some problem with the advanced hole function. as we all know you can customize the hole note, the different section of your hole with first element a chamfer (for example), second element counterbore and so on.....
The picture below is the port we need for our modelling works on our idraulic blocks, but the visualization isn't the real one.
Solidworks can elaborate as many diameter as you want, but could never replicate the chamfer of the drilling tool as you can see in the picture (the white lines).
For us this is a very big problem mainly for 2 reason:
- if you manually add a chamfer, you can see the drill conicity but as you change the deeper Ø's hole (with a smaller Ø) the chamfer need to be manually updated → i want the camfer to mantain the conicity form wathever is the Ø of the hole bleow it (without adjusting it manually, because it loses its references)
- Without that conicity we don't have a realistic model in wich we can see internal distances and any critical issues.....
following you'll find the port function ↓↓↓
Here's what happen when you modify the depth or the Ø of the last hole ↓↓↓
The revolved cut lose its references
So my question is: how can i create a library function of my port with the advanced hole function (so that i have customized note) and be sure at the same time i can modify or adjust Ø and depth of the first or second hole without losing references of the revolved cut (wich i use for the explained reason above)?
It's a very tricky situation.....
