As every year the SW upgrade went smooth. When launching SW 2011 for the first time it shows the menus and the toolbars like I am used too. The environment looks familiar and everything seem to work fine. The safety copy of the SW 2010 settings I made is not needed. What a good job these programmers do! As every year however I need to manually copy-paste my Macros folder with key-assigned macros into the SW install directory. I know (for new users) this is explained in the help section. But every year I ask myself questions like: What is the reason for SW not installing this Macros folder automatically? Why do they copy the key-assignments to the new version but not the macros itself? Why are more than 1 million users forced to perform this action themselves? Isn't it very logical that the users want to continue using their macros in the new upgrade? Enough. I suggest that the installation manager for SW 2012 shows the following question: "do you want SW to install the folder with your key assigned macros again?" Yes/No.
