I'm installing SW'07 from DVD on my own PC and only get intothe files a little way before I get: "Error 1335. The Cabinet file'WinNt0.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannotbe used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading fromthe CD-ROM, or a problem with this package." ...couple thingswrong: I'm using DVD and I'm not on a network.
If I choose to ignor I get "Internal Error 2350" which interuptsand aborts the instalation.
I did a search for the file on solidworks.com and came up empty. IGoogled it and got a number of hits ALL related to SW, many inforeign languages, 1 saying the VAR was useless, nothing fromMicroSoft but a couple shady looking places where I can downloadit, or something disguised as it.
So... is WinNt0.cab unique to SW? Maybe I need to try installingfrom CD-ROM? If I do download it from the internet where would Ineed to save it so it can be found during installation? What's thechances the rest of the cab files may be toast too? Anyone able tosend them to me?
Thank you,
