Why is there no purge function in SolidWorks?

I've been wondering for a while why there isn't a ''Purge'' function in SolidWorks, kind of like AutoCAD has. Right now, there's no way of purging stuff out of your drawing/part/assembly that I'm aware of.

Sometimes, I get planes that float around a multi-body part. I can generally select them but I cannot delete them, only hide them. If I do ''Show item in tree'', it doesn't bring me to it. I also get that with sketches too so that got me wondering, just how much crap is SolidWorks stocking up in it's cache and some of it could be purged to fix reccuring problems.

I'm sure there are plenty of useless stuff left in the cache that could be removed. Planes, sketches, temporary axises, views, balloons, annotations. These are all objects which sometimes get stuck on drawings/parts/assemblies and can't be removed manually by a user or are very hard for a user to notice, like having to do another command to know they actually exist. (Annotations in drawings, hidden views in drawings)

Perhaps, this could even partially fix the ''Old crusty template gotcha'' syndrome.
