Wondering the best way to leave a weld gap between coped beams. As it is now I just trim to body and the cut length is from web to web on coped beams. Now my chief wants the gap represented length.
I know I can trim the ends of the beam but that is painful. I can offset the sketch endpoint but it doesn't solve the coping around the flanges. (not that that would affect the length. Just want to do it right all around.
Any suggestions on this.
