Group: Forum Members | A warning! I downloaded and installed the new Solidworks SP3.0 this morning and after the update was finished, Solidworks wouldn't load MasterCam for Solidworks.I called my Solidworks dealer and they told me it must be a MasterCam problem. They had me do a Windows Recovery to bring my system back to before I updated Solidworks. That took nearly an hour. After the recovery, Solidworks was able to load MC4SW but couldn't find the Control definitions specified in my existing programs. I always back up my files before I do any kind of an update so I was able to copy My MCamforSW2017 and shared McamForSW2017 back in and everything seems to be working now. Solidworks is back to SP2.0 and I just wasted my morning. I would urge you to check with your MasterCam reseller before updating to Solidworks SP3.0.Tags |
