The hallmark of a SOLIDWORKS product in my eyes is always ease of use, getting the job done fast so first of all a big well done to those involved in the interface revamp, it's clear, modern and so much quicker to find what I need. Even from just minutes of use it is a big step forward i think. I just filled in a survey that auto popped up (great idea!) but here is some more if anyone else is interested.....
I appreciate there is always room for debate on what could be even better, much of it personal opinion and tough choices so the below i'll perhaps make some enhancement requests in the future, but sure i will change my mind to an extent as i use the product more. Still It would be nice to hear from Visualize users what their thoughts are (make sure you fill in the survey! and i'm sure there will be many different opinions.
Some examples of small things making a big difference. It seems like the right click menu can give you easy access to just about any option and they are all sensibly catagorised, great for seldom used commands. e.g. snap to floor below
Fast Mode- Speed and Quality
Yes! the amount of times i have to go into options in 2017 even in demos to switch between these modes, speed mode is also excellent when combined with presentation mode (when there aren't lots of transparent objects) for live rendered presentations
View Presets- the old camera panel worked but wasn't anywhere near as easy as this!
Cloud Library improvements, i didn't think this was a big deal until i tried it zero frustration waiting for items to download easy to download multiple files at once and cancel if on a slow connection
Categorization- Splitting up settings into sensible tabs, best example for me is the camera tab, really well devided feature sets where as before there was alot of scrolling and expanding menus

Feedback-Things i would like considered for the future
Consider more options on the Scenes -> Basic Tab
It's a little too basic for my liking at the moment, i don't feel it is advanced to want to rotate the lighting, turn floor shadows on/off perhaps even adjust the brightness, so perhaps we could duplicate those settings here as there is plenty of space
Render Modes
i'm in two minds here, the old icons did look a little dated and perhaps i'm just seeing this because it is quite a change but i'm not sure that the new symbols for Preview, Fast and Accurate have enough contrast/ communicate enough about the different render modes for me. However they are much cleaner and easy to pick up on.

2018
Allow expansion of the Output dialog width wise, + automatically include the render settings (i had to drag to make the dialog longer or scroll to see render mode etc)
Cheers
