"Visual" Table of Contents

I really like the table on pg. 8-9 of the Sheet Metal book, that shows upfront all the various sheet metal methods with a thumbnail image and page number of where to go

I think it would be great to have something like this in the beginning of all the books as something of a visual ToC

I see the training manuals as having two purposes - used during the class, but then also as a reference for students after the class to be able to easily look up information. And this could reduce a lot of page flipping! I expect students may remember the parts from memory better than the chapter name / numbers which can sometimes be more cryptic.
